    Slice C smoke — three-section reshape complete. Input Devices + Output Devices + Speakers as the primary flow; SourceLocations retired; Delay Matrix column axis grouped by device (§8.1); Auxiliary Devices for off-matrix hardware; REAL_PROJECT_ENTRY.md rewritten to ~3 steps. Backend: source_locations table dropped in migration 015, source signals become the matrix input identity, signals.manual_mute preserves column-mute. 154 cargo tests green. Test criterion (Calum's quote): 'Is this legible and simple to a working engineer entering a real system, not just technically expressible?' — the acquisition test on this smoke will answer.
